The Alafia River crosses the north end at US 301. Downtown Tampa is about 12 miles northwest. Riverview grew from about 71,000 people in 2010 to more than 107,000 by the 2020 census. A french drain installation moves that water off the low spot and out to daylight. We dig the trench with a mini excavator. The perforated pipe sets in washed rock and gets wrapped in fabric. Where the yard itself is the problem, land grading fixes the slope so water runs away from the slab. Fill dirt delivery helps when a low corner needs to come up. Concrete removal clears an old patio or driveway that traps water.
