Land Clearing
Our land clearing services cover overgrown lots across Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. Excavators and skid steers take out underbrush, palmettos, stumps, and trees. Our dump trucks haul the debris off before we leave.
Excavation is the dig work that happens before anything else gets built. We cut foundation pits for new homes and room additions. Pool holes on residential lots are steady work for us across Tampa. We also open trenches for water lines, sewer, power, and drainage pipe. Our excavators come in several sizes, so we match the machine to the lot and the access. The dirt that comes out loads into our own dump trucks and leaves the site. What you are left with is a hole cut to the depth and slope your plans call for. The walls are clean and the bottom is flat.
Construction Site Development is a family business run by two brothers, Daniel and Pedro Gonzalez. We formed the company in 2018 and come from a family construction background. Daniel works on job sites himself and drives one of our dump trucks. We are based in the Citrus Park area of Tampa and work across Tampa Bay. That covers Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. Most people looking for an excavation contractor want one outfit that digs and hauls. We run our own excavators, skid steers, backhoe, and dump trucks. The dirt leaves in our trucks under our own USDOT number.

Every dig starts before the machines show up. We call 811 and wait for the utility marks before a bucket touches the ground. Then we set the dig limits from your plans or the stakes your surveyor set. On a residential infill lot we bring a smaller excavator. A big machine cannot turn between the house and the fence. Sand walls slump, so we cut them back at an angle instead of straight down. We cut down in layers and check depth as we go. The dirt either gets stockpiled on site for backfill or loaded into our dump trucks.
Sandy soil moves. In much of Tampa Bay you hit clean sand a few feet down. The sides of a deep cut want to slide in. We slope the walls back or step them so the hole stays open. Water is the other thing we plan for. The water table sits high in parts of Hillsborough and Pinellas. A deep footing or pool hole can find water before it reaches plan depth. When that happens we pump the hole down and keep digging. You get a call from the site the same day.
Excavation is priced per job, because no two lots dig the same. Depth and volume set the base. A four foot footing trench moves far less dirt than a pool hole. After that, access matters. A machine that has to reach through a gate takes longer than one working an open lot. Then comes what happens to the dirt we pull out. Hauling it off site adds truck trips. Spreading it on the same lot saves those trips. Buried concrete, old fill, roots, or water above plan depth can add time.
Estimates are free. We come out to the site and look at the access and the dig area. Then you get a price for the work. Bring your plans or your site survey if you have them, since depth and limits come off those. If your job also needs fill dirt delivered on our own trucks, we handle that too. Site preparation after the dig is work we take on as well. Call 813-453-5883 and we will set a time that works for you.
Rain runs from June through September here. Afternoon storms fill an open hole fast, and sand walls give way once they are soaked. We plan around it. On wet season jobs we dig and backfill in the same stretch. The shorter the hole stays open, the better it holds. We pump standing water out before crews go back in. If a storm is sitting on us, we stop and come back. Winter and spring dig faster, so schedule ahead if your build has a hard start date.
We work Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties out of Citrus Park. That puts St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Brandon, Riverview, and Largo inside our normal run. We also cover Wesley Chapel, Palm Harbor, Land O Lakes, Lutz, and Plant City. Infill lots are common here, where an older house comes down and a new one goes up. Those digs sit close to standing homes, so we run smaller machines and keep the site tight. Trenching for a french drain installation is work we can take on the same visit.

Tell us what needs to come down, get cleared, or get filled. A few photos help. We cover Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties from our Tampa base.
Daniel or Pedro prices the job at the property, free. We check the structure, the ground, and the access, then give you one number for the whole job.
Our own excavators, skid steers, and dump trucks. The teardown, the dirt work, and the hauling stay with one company, so the schedule holds.
Debris goes out on our trucks. The ground gets graded flat, the street gets cleaned up, and the lot is ready for whatever comes next.

Our land clearing services cover overgrown lots across Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. Excavators and skid steers take out underbrush, palmettos, stumps, and trees. Our dump trucks haul the debris off before we leave.
We do land grading on residential lots across Tampa Bay. Our excavators and skid steers cut the high spots and fill the low ones. The finished slope carries storm water away from your foundation and out to the street or a swale.
We take a raw lot to a build-ready pad. That covers stripping topsoil, cut and fill, stem wall backfill, and compaction in lifts. Your pad ends up at plan elevation, ready for the engineer to test and the slab crew to start.
Standing water in the yard and water against the slab call for the same fix. We dig a gravel trench with perforated pipe in the bottom. The line slopes to a discharge point away from the house. Catch basins and downspout tie-ins handle the water where it starts.
We deliver fill dirt across Tampa Bay in our own dump trucks. Most dirt pits drop the load and leave. We bring the machine too, so the fill gets spread and packed down where you want it.
We break out old driveways, patios, pool decks and slabs across Tampa Bay. Our own dump trucks haul the broken concrete off the property. The breakout and the disposal happen on the same job. Free estimates before any work starts.
Two brothers, Daniel and Pedro Gonzalez, run the company and carry on their family's work in the construction field. Daniel is on the job sites himself. The people who price your job are the people who do it.
Our own dump trucks run under USDOT 3805736, and our own excavators and skid steers do the loading. Debris leaves on our schedule, not a bin company's. The teardown and the haul-off are one job and one price.
Demolition, clearing, excavation, grading, fill and the pad, handled by the same team in one sequence. No waiting on a second sub to show up. The lot moves from standing house to build-ready ground without a handoff.
We run out of the Citrus Park area of Tampa and work Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties every week. Short runs mean machines show up when we said they would. Call and you get Daniel or Pedro, not a call center.
